Why Buy Our Made To Measure Aluminium Venetian Blinds
Where Can You Fit Aluminium Venetian Blinds?
The surface layer of the metal used in crafting these blinds is protected by aluminium oxide, therefore your blinds won’t rust. This makes them perfect for rooms where they may get wet - bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms in particular. Despite its lightweight, aluminium is also very durable and flexible, making it a great investment without compromising on style.
Fun fact - aluminium is the most abundant metal in the world and the process in which it's extracted is more eco-friendly than many other materials. Since aluminium can be recycled many times over, adding a Aluminium Venetian blind to your home will also improve its eco-friendliness!
What Are Our Different Types Of Aluminium Venetian Blinds?
Perfect Fit Aluminium Venetian blinds - With all the same functional and aesthetic qualities of regular Aluminium Venetian blinds, their Perfect Fit alternatives are even easier to fit requiring no DIY experiences, drills, or hammers – they simply clip in place.
How To Measure For Aluminium Venetian Blinds
Inside Window (Recess) This measurement is required if your new blind is to fit inside the window recess. For total accuracy, measure the width and drop from three different positions ensuring you provide the smallest measurement. From there, our team will make the necessary deductions ensuring the blind fits neatly within the recess of your window.
Outside Window (Recess) Exact size is the measurement needed for blinds that will hang outside the recess, overlapping the window. Choose how much to overlap the recess at each side, we recommend at least 7.5cm each side, as well as the top and bottom. As with recess measurements, measure the width and the drop in three separate positions ensuring you provide the smallest measurement. If you’re apprehensive about measuring your blinds, you can always benefit from our Surefit guarantee, for total peace of mind.

What Finishes are Available For Aluminium Venetian Blinds?
If your blind is to sit amongst neutral colours, matt finishes will help retain the calming nature of your space. Conversely, if you’re using bold, punchy colours, a gloss finish will help enhance the vibrancy.
Are Aluminium Venetian blinds easy to clean?
When cleaning your blinds, first, place them in the closed position and go over the whole blind with a soft duster, wiping from the middle outwards. Second, open then close the blind in the opposite direction, and repeat the process.
If there are sticky or greasy stains that need removing, try a mild detergent like washing up liquid. Use a damp cloth to gradually buff the mark and then pat the affected slats dry with kitchen roll. You can use baby wipes equally as effectively.
