How To Measure For Window Shutters
Firstly, there are two styles of frame you can pick from. They are:
L Frame Shutters come in two types - inside and outside window mountings. Both of these frames resemble an “L”, sitting either inside the window recess at any depth, or outside the window recess if necessary. If you are unsure which frame is best for you, simply contact our team for tips and advice.
Z Frame Shutters are used exclusively for inside mounting. As the name indicates, the frame resembles a Z, and part of this shape sits inside the window. The other part affixes around the window, creating a lip which ensures a flush frame without any gaps. The Z frame can be installed with both an architrave and windowsill.
