Surge wave curtains track
Our surge curtain tracks offer a modern alternative to pinch pleat or pencil pleat curtain headings, manipulating the curtain fabric into even gaps and curves. Within the surge track, a specially designed glider cord restricts the extension of the fabric, maintaining neat and consistent wave effect. When the curtains are closed, the fabric will never extend beyond 6 centimetre increments, whilst the curtains fold and stack neatly when open.
Our surge tracks are available in two colours options, silver and white, so you can select the right shade to tie in with your decor. Both designs are sleek and slimline, so no attention will be drawn away from your chosen fabric. Surge tracks are particularly suited to large expanses of glass, including bay windows and bi-folding doors, but work well for all windows throughout your home. It is also recommended that your surge track is installed as close to the ceiling as possible.
Surge tracks lend perfectly to lightweight curtains that drape and flow naturally, such as sheer fabrics, linen and silk, but they can also be paired with heavier curtains if you desire a cosier look. You could even consider investing in two sets of curtains to switch up as the seasons change; a lighter voile for spring and summer, and thicker textured fabric for the colder months.
Voiles and sheer curtains
Our sheer curtains are the perfect pairing for your new surge track, creating a subtle, laidback look. A contemporary twist on traditional voiles and net curtains, our sheer fabrics arrive as sumptuous silks and elegant linens, decorated with delicate prints and metallic embroidery.
Voiles and sheer fabrics provide a feeling of privacy whilst allowing fresh air and sunlight to enter your home. Of course, if you do wish to block out more light and improve thermal efficiency, you can layer your sheer curtains with an additional window dressing for more protection. Heavier curtains, wooden blinds and roller blinds all work well for this, providing an additional layer that can be opened as closed as necessary.
When measuring for your new voile curtains, we suggest that the fabric should fall from as high as possible to the floor, creating a look of additional height and infinite style. Click the links on the images below to take a closer look at our voile fabrics and order up to 8 free samples.
