The Marna Roller Blind combines depth and pattern creating a relaxing atmosphere in any space.
Marna Alberts; the designer of this fashionable fabric, and winner of the BD Design Challenge 2021 said:
"My South African heritage has allowed me to be exposed to a nation of people whose creativity knows no bounds. In Africa art is for everyone, not only the educated or 'talented'. It is how we, as a multinational and multilingual nation, express ourselves. What I miss most about my homeland is my connection with nature. Walking barefoot and climbing trees on a sunny day. My design strives to re-establish not only my own connection with the natural outside world but also that of the consumer. Eco printed marks and impressions of real leaves and vegetation together with natural dyes have helped me create an experience of being outside. My design references shadows created by natural light creating a sensory experience reminiscent of being outside."
Offering style, light control and privacy to your home, Marna's design is the perfect addition to any space.

How to install Roller Blinds
How to measure a window for Roller Blinds
Cloth Size
Please note, we will not manufacture your blind to the cloth width, but based on the complete item, including mechanisms and brackets. This means the actual cloth width will be 3cm-4cm narrower than the width ordered.
Bay Windows
We do not recommend installing this type of product in a bay window. This is due to the fabric width being narrower than the size ordered. Furthermore, the blinds will not be pattern matched.
Our images
Product images are for illustration purposes only. While we endeavour to provide the best representation possible, we always recommend that you request a free sample before your purchase.
The brackets and controls for your blind
All necessary brackets and fittings are included. The blinds are easily fitted using our universal brackets which can be face fixed or top fixed to the window, wall or lintel. We do not advise side fitting your roller blind in a recess due to the deduction made.
The fabric width
If the width of your blind is wider than the manufacturer's fabric width (shown in the details tab) then we will need to make a join. If this is the case, we will take extreme care to ensure the patterns are correctly aligned.
Length of your roller blind
Our roller blinds are made to measure to your specified width, but may be supplied with a longer drop than ordered. We leave extra fabric on the tube to ensure you can unwind your blind further if required without affecting operation if not needed.
Recess Depths
Roller blinds are supplied with universal brackets which provide options for top or face fixing. To top fix roller blinds up to 260cm wide inside the recess, ensure you have a depth of 5cm. For face fixture, your recess will need to be 6.5cm. For roller blinds wider than 260cm, you will need 8.5cm for a top fix, or 8cm for face fixtures. For our Designer upgrade your recess depth will need to be 8cm for top fix and 9cm for face fix, and for the Platinum upgrade your recess depth will need to be 9cm for top fix and 11cm for face fix.

We take the safety and well-being of children very seriously. That's why all of our blinds are supplied with a child safety device, which ensures cords and chains are safely secured to the wall, preventing the risk of strangulation. Each blind is manufactured with a maximum chain length of one metre, keeping it out of reach of small children. If you require a chain longer than one metre, please contact us when you have placed your order. Conditions will still apply in accordance with child safety regulations.
